Conscious Connected Breathwork at The Island

Conscious connected breathwork is a simple yet powerful practice that involves deep, circular breathing, giving access to heightened states of awareness for relaxation, self-exploration and healing.

During this workshop we'll warm up with some gentle breathing practices then go into the main breathing practice. Using elements from a shamanic lineage of breathwork, we'll go deep within the practice to unlock anything the body has been holding on to and gently let go of it. The power of breath can enhance your physical and mental health, boost your immunity and cardiovascular strength, and bring states of deep relaxation and calm. We'll end with a gentle sharing circle if anyone would like to share their experiences and connect with others.

What to bring/wear: clothes that are loose fitting and comfortable, bring a journal & pen, a water bottle, and an eye mask. Mats will be provided, please bring blankets and bolsters/cushions. Try not to eat a big, heavy meal up to one hour before the session begins.
